The Big Secret
In this article, I’m going to tell you the big secret.
I’ve been telling you about My Quest. Like looking for Sasquatch or Big Foot, I have spent decades looking for the secret to business success. And, the big question was and is: Is there such a thing as Business Alchemy?
Is there a simple way to turn an ordinary business into gold?
Business Alchemy – Debunked?
You might recall a cable show called “MythBusters.” In this show, two pseudoscientists would test different urban myths. Their goal was to determine if a certain urban myth was true or false.
Using the scientific approach, they would test a hypothesis. It would either be true or false.
In a similar way, I have spent decades trying and testing different things. I wanted to find the long lost secret to business success.
And, here’s the big secret.
The Big Secret
So what about changing business “lead” into business “gold”? To date, I have not found the missing link. I did not find the ONE thing that turns lead into gold. Business alchemy? Myth BUSTED!
But, I will tell you the BIG secret.
You can’t make gold. God makes gold. The best we can do is learn how to find it.
Centuries ago, many tried to turn lead into gold. It was fruitless.
So, others took a different approach: prospecting. Instead of trying to make gold, prospectors spent their time learning how to find gold. They learned how to read the land. And, they would learn the best places to find gold. Plus, through trial and error, they would learn and discover the best methods of pulling gold out of the ground.
What Else I Learned
I spent decades on my quest. And, I didn’t find what I was looking for. I didn’t find the proverbial silver bullet.
But, thank God, I did find a pot of gold. Well, actually, lots of gold. And, I will tell you that I found some of it at the end of a rainbow. A rainbow that followed some big rain storms in business.
